It’s been a busy past few weeks. This is the first weekend that I’ve actually been at home in a month, and just by looking around my apartment, you can tell. It’s been completely worth it, though. A couple of weeks ago, I went to Vermont to play Diplomacy and poker until the wee hours of the morning with some good friends at a beautiful resort on a lake in the late-fall mountains.

Last weekend, I was in Dallas, attending the American Cancer Society’s Colleges Against Cancer National Leadership Summit, or (ACSCACNLSALSGHALSEKUASLUGNAX) for short. It was tons of fun, and we all came back super-excited about the program, and are working on starting chapters at more than just the pilot sites we’re currently working with. If any of that made sense, then great!

This past week at work, I had meetings every night, so needless to say, I’m spending this weekend just relaxing and watching Comedy Central and the Cartoon Network. The greatest part is that I still have tomorrow to do some chores (are they chores when they’re self-inflicted?) and get some more relaxation time in.

I don’t know what I’m doing for Thanksgiving. It just snuck up so quickly. It’s still 2003, right? I know a few other people who may not be going to their respective homes, so I may hold some sort of Potluck for Misfit Toys. Preferably, that would be at someone else’s house, as my oven and half my stove don’t work.

Wow, and I thought that I didn’t have anything to write…
